Catholic Prayer Library

A Catholic should never be caught without the words. Confess. carries a library of more than eighty prayers — the essentials you say every day, the great devotions, the penitential prayers, and the creeds — all on your device, all available offline, all free.

Every prayer you reach for

Most prayer apps bury the prayers under audio courses and subscriptions. Confess. keeps it simple: a clean, complete library of the prayers Catholics actually use, ready the moment you need them — at a bedside, in a pew, in a waiting room, or in the line for confession.

What’s included

More than 80 prayers, organized the way you’d look for them:

• The essentials — the Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds, the Act of Faith, Hope, and Love
• The Rosary — the mysteries and the prayers of the beads
• The Stations of the Cross — the full devotion, station by station
• Marian devotions — the Memorare, the Angelus, the Salve Regina, and more
• Penitential prayers — for before and after confession, including both Acts of Contrition

The Act of Contrition, with audio

The library includes both the traditional and modern Act of Contrition, with audio playback and word-by-word highlighting to help you memorize the one you’ll pray in the confessional. When the moment comes, the same prayer is available full-screen inside the app’s In-Confession mode.

Private, offline, free

The whole library is stored on your device and works without a connection. There is no account, no tracking, and no cost — every prayer is included free. The prayer texts are drawn in part from an open Catholic prayer source and merged with the app’s own library; no personal data is ever transmitted.

83 prayers, offline. The Rosary, the Stations of the Cross, litanies and both Acts of Contrition, in English and Spanish. Free for iPhone and iPad.
